History of the Isilines bus company

The story of Isilines began in 2015, when Transdev, a subsidiary of Eurolines, launched the brand following the Macron law which opened up the long-distance coach market. The company started with 17 national routes and quickly expanded thanks to its attractive services: modern buses, on-board Wi-Fi, generous luggage allowance and tickets from €5. In 2016, Isilines became a partner of PSG for transporting the teams, boosting its visibility and credibility in the market. Three years later, in 2019, FlixBus officially acquired Isilines, marking the end of the brand, and all routes were gradually integrated under the FlixBus banner, providing continuity for travellers while benefiting from the new operator's extensive European network.
