Isilines bus becomes FlixBus: travelling around France by bus

Baggage policy

You can bring 1 cabin bag (40 x 30 x 15 cm) free of charge, as well as 1 hold bag (maximum 20 kg, combined dimensions up to 170 cm).

Bulky luggage such as bikes, skis or musical instruments is accepted on board, subject to weight and size conditions, and for an extra fee.

Loyalty programme

The Isilines company no longer offers a dedicated loyalty programme. Since its integration into FlixBus, all journeys are now covered by the FlixBus programme and benefits.

Boarding

We recommend arriving 20 to 30 minutes before departure to make boarding easier.

Your personal ticket is mandatory, whether shown in paper form or on your smartphone (readable QR code).

A valid ID must also be presented at boarding.

Pets

Dogs and cats under 5 kg are allowed on board, provided they travel in a suitable bag. A supplement may apply.

Guide dogs are allowed free of charge and without any restrictions.

Unaccompanied minors

Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Young people aged 16 to 18 may travel alone, provided they have valid ID.

Babies must have their own seat. Using a booster seat is strongly recommended for extra comfort and safety.

At Eurolines agencies (historic locations, still used by FlixBus).
On board: subject to availability, card payment only.

Unfortunately, Isilines does not offer the option to choose your seat when booking. You will therefore need to use some strategies to get the seat you want.

The simplest solution is to arrive early enough to be among the first to board with Isilines, giving you the choice!

If other passengers are quicker than you, you can also try negotiating with them. It's up to you to find the best arguments to convince them!

Today, Isilines = FlixBus. The real choice is therefore mainly between FlixBus and BlaBlaBus:

FlixBus → larger European network, more schedules.
BlaBlaBus → sometimes cheaper on certain routes within France.
