As with a regular ticket, you must show your ticket to the conductor. They will also check your identity, so it's essential to carry an official ID: identity card, passport or driving licence.
Booking a ticket with your MAX ACTIF pass is very simple. Just select your usual route, as with a regular booking, then indicate your MAX ACTIF subscription during the search to automatically get your seat for €0.
If you wish to cancel your MAX ACTIF subscription before the end of the 12-month commitment, fees equivalent to one monthly payment will apply. To cancel, go to your MAX ACTIF personal account, where a dedicated form is available. Simply enter the desired end date for your subscription.
Important: for your request to be processed in time, be sure to send it before the last day of the current month.
Subscribing to the MAX ACTIF pass involves a 12-month commitment, with payments spread out monthly.
One of the great advantages of MAX ACTIF, compared to other passes in the MAX range, is that you don't have to book your ticket in advance. Handy if you have a busy schedule! No need to remember to validate your trips ahead of time: you can book at the last minute as needed. However, remember to cancel your ticket if you end up not taking the train, to free up the seat for other travelers.
Unlike other passes in the MAX range, MAX ACTIF is available with no age restriction. The only thing that matters is how often you travel. If you make 2 to 3 round trips per week on the same route, MAX ACTIF is for you. However, if you travel 4 to 5 times a week, the MAX ACTIF + pass will be better suited.
