Flixbus
🚨 Can children travel alone on Flixbus buses?
What are the travel conditions, your child's safety and the price of a child ticket?
So we decided to guide you by serving up all this information on a plate, so you know everything before letting your minor child travel alone by bus.
It's a gift, because we want your Flixbus journey to be the best travel experience possible.
But above all, before buying a Flixbus ticket, it's important to first check the Flixbus timetables and fares, the destinations, as well as the departure and arrival stations.
And if you still have other questions before setting off on your journey with Flixbus, we certainly have the answers:
Children under 3 years old must be placed in a suitable car seat that can be secured with a 2-point seatbelt.
Please note that parents must bring their own car seat with a seatbelt adapter. This is your own personal responsibility.
Passengers with children without an appropriate car seat will be refused boarding.
To make sure you're seated together, book a seat for yourself and your child.
Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Children aged 10 to 15 can travel alone with the written authorisation of a parent or legal guardian (to be indicated when booking).
Drivers cannot supervise children. With this in mind, make sure your child is independent enough to travel alone.
Your child can only travel alone on domestic lines, without a connection, and only between 6h00 and 22h00.
From the age of 15, your child can travel alone without restrictions. Just make sure they have all the necessary documents and identity papers with them.
