Good news! If you ever decide to cancel or change your cheap bus ticket, Ouibus is very flexible about it. You just need to do it at least 30 minutes before departure.
Important to know: changing bus schedules is free only when done online. If you make the same change directly at a ticket counter, you'll be charged 5 euros, and this rises to 10 euros if done by phone.
As for ticket cancellation, it's possible and is done via a refund in the form of an Ouibus voucher that can be reused for another trip. The only restriction: tickets bought on promotion are neither refundable nor changeable.
Ouibus coaches are fully equipped for wheelchair users or people with disabilities, so they can enjoy a comfortable journey.
To approach your trip with peace of mind, two steps must be followed before heading to the station: specify when booking that you have a disability, then call the CRISTAL number - 09 69 32 33 48 - so that everything is ready upon your arrival.
Nothing could be simpler than accessing SNCF buses.
A few tips nonetheless: Arrive 30 minutes early! You're never fully safe from the unexpected, and seat selection may be on a first-come basis, so no mercy for latecomers.
SNCF buses are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Special arrangements are made especially for them. For more information, we cover this later in the FAQ.
Thanks to Tictactrip, you can buy your bus ticket directly online with no effort at all. However, there are also physical points of sale at all Ouibus booths as well as at partner stands.
For more information, check out all the SNCF bus ticket sales points here: https://fr.ouibus.com/points-de-vente.
The SNCF bus company, Ouibus, gives you the chance to travel at a low price across France. These cheap bus tickets let you, for example, do a Bordeaux–Paris journey for only €9.90. The many Ouibus promotional offers change travelers' lives and let you make incredible savings on all your trips.
As for the ticket type, nothing could be simpler, it's the same for everyone. You just need to have it saved on your smartphone or computer, and you'll be able to board SNCF buses right away.
If you haven't found the answer to your questions in our FAQ, you can always call Ouibus customer service directly, and they'll answer all your questions: +33 08 92 68 00 68 (€0.40/min)
For more information, here's the Ouibus website (now BlaBlaBus): https://fr.ouibus.com/
If you want to send them a question by email, their address can be found on the following page: https://help.blablabus.com/hc/fr.
Want to know if there's a strike on your bus line and check traffic conditions?
To find this information, simply visit the SNCF app or their website. There you'll find all strikes and traffic disruptions listed.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to travel with you on SNCF buses. Yes, that's not great for these poor animals who can't join the trip, but if everyone brought their dog or cat, the Ouibus staff would struggle to manage.
But no worries! Once again, the cheap bus company has found a solution with its Ouicroquette service. This Ouibus service lets you travel with peace of mind and, above all, takes care of your little pet, who will wait patiently for you at home.
As for seat selection, in theory, you can choose your seat directly online when purchasing your bus ticket. However, it's possible the captain (or driver) will assign you a seat automatically on board the bus.
Another possible scenario: the captain may decide that seating is free choice and that "first come, first served" applies. So again, don't be one of the latecomers! 😉
As with all transport companies, minors wishing to travel unaccompanied are subject to very specific rules:

The SNCF bus company doesn't offer a loyalty program. But then again, with these prices, it's hard to get much cheaper, right?
You're probably wondering: at that price, do I still get to bring some luggage with me? Well, yes! When you take an Ouibus, with a few exceptions (Paris-London, Paris-Lille), you're entitled to two carry-on bags and two checked bags, up to 20kg each!
A little tip from Tictactrip: remember to label your luggage. Even though your suitcases and bags are perfectly safe, mistakes can happen quickly, and you could end up with another passenger's suitcase without meaning to. So, to avoid losing your precious belongings, don't forget to include your name, number, and address just in case!
Planning to book an SNCF bus but don't know its schedule? No worries, here's where to find the information you're looking for!
First, if you use our Tictactrip site to search for and book your SNCF Bus ticket, the schedule will automatically be shown.
Second, if after booking your trip you can't remember your SNCF bus schedule, just check your travel ticket. You should have received it by email at the address you provided.
We wish you a wonderful trip!
SNCF buses were already known for their comfort and the quality of travel offered by the Ouibus service. Now you can travel even more comfortably thanks to coaches with a reduced number of seats.
Room for your long legs, optimal air conditioning, individual lighting, and even free unlimited WiFi for everyone: aboard SNCF buses, you're sure to enjoy a pleasant journey without even having to worry about the ticket price.
Tired of the cold and gray skies? With an SNCF Bus (Ouibus), you can easily head to Montpellier for a weekend to unwind under the Hérault sunshine. Between the charming shops run by locals and its architectural gems, the city of Montpellier offers plenty of places to visit.
Once you arrive, we recommend getting lost in the city's medieval streets, brimming with history and well worth the detour.
The Jardin des Plantes, located right in the heart of the city, displays magnificent orchids and lets travelers unwind and relax, whether with family or alone.
Fancy a cultural weekend, strolling along gardens and above all exploring the famous wine roads? SNCF Buses take you to Gironde for almost nothing and in just 2 hours.
Before becoming the wine capital, Bordeaux was first and foremost a former capital of France. Yes, that was in 1915, and even though it only lasted a few weeks, this city full of history is truly worth the detour!
For instance, you could visit the Grand Théâtre, an architectural feat from the 18th century that will surely leave you speechless.
Thanks to SNCF Buses, you can get a breath of good old "Ch'nord" air for almost nothing. One hour on the bus and you could be standing in front of your favorite fry stand.
With its pretty streets and lovely squares, the magnificent Vieux-Lille is well worth a stroll.
If you have a sweet tooth, a visit to the famous Aux Merveilleux de Fred patisserie is a must, where you'll taste delicious meringues and Lille-style brioches!
Feeling a bit lost between Ouibus, IDBUS, or even that mysterious SNCF bus? No worries: Tictactrip explains it all so you can book your tickets with total peace of mind!
In July 2015, the liberalization of the coach market in France marked a turning point: the famous Macron buses appeared, with unbeatable prices for traveling across Europe.
In this context, SNCF launched its own long-distance bus company: Ouibus (formerly IDBUS). This subsidiary served over 300 destinations in France and Europe, with tickets starting at 5 euros.
The answer is: no. In November 2018, SNCF announced the sale of its Ouibus subsidiary to BlaBlaCar. The brand was then renamed BlaBlaBus in spring 2019.
So, if you're looking for an "SNCF bus" today, it's actually a BlaBlaBus! But don't worry: you can still book these journeys via platforms like SNCF Connect, Tictactrip, or Trainline.
Watch out for common mistakes: it's not "wi bus SNCF" or "we bus SNCF." The correct name was Ouibus, now known as BlaBlaBus.
Using an "SNCF bus" today actually means traveling with BlaBlaBus. Even though SNCF is no longer the direct operator, the service remains an excellent alternative for cheap travel, in France and across Europe.
