Tictactrip support (FAQ)
Booking a ticket for a disabled traveler and/or someone with reduced mobility can be a real headache and we know it very well at Tictactrip! That's why we decided to make things easier for you by creating this FAQ specially dedicated to you, because we believe that everyone has the right to travel as easily!
Well, you might be disappointed, it's not yet possible to book from A to Z a ticket for a disabled traveler or a traveler with reduced mobility, but it's in our plans (it's just complex to set up at first...)
Indeed, it's complicated because even for companies, the procedures are different to book your ticket. Most of the time, you will need to do it case by case depending on the company you choose for your trip. You will only need to book your ticket normally, then later call the specific number to make this type of request and then be able to enjoy the mobility assistance service set up by the company. Here are some examples depending on the companies.
The OuiGo trains of SNCF clearly mention, and you probably expected it, that travelers with disabilities and people with reduced mobility can certainly travel with their train company.
To do so, however, and have access to the Accès + service set up by SNCF, you will need to, after booking your ticket, fill out the service request form at least 48 hours before your departure. To fill out this form, go right here: https://www.ouigo.com/contact?objet=HDC. It's simple and quick, you see! Plus, you'll have access to the Accès + service which offers you a station welcome and a whole process to take care of you as best as possible if you need it! Pretty nice, right?
Yes, BlaBlaBus buses also adapt to you to allow you to travel at minimal prices! Whether you have a disability or reduced mobility, you will be able to board your BlaBlaBus bus without any trouble!
However, be careful to respect one necessary condition: you must inform the BlaBlaBus teams of your disability when you make your reservation. Indeed, this will allow the company's teams to optimize your trip with them as much as possible! To do this, you can send them a message following your reservation. Also, don't forget to call them at 01 71 53 01 80, at least 36 hours before your journey, so you can agree on a meeting point at the station so the staff can take care of you easily! We wish you a pleasant journey!
As you will have understood, the policies on access and ticket reservations for people with reduced mobility vary depending on the companies... Fortunately for you, we have already created pages dedicated to each of our companies in the past, and this information can be found on each one! If you want to know more about the Flixbus policy for people with reduced mobility, go directly to our page www.tictactrip.eu/company/bus/flixbus. To find our list of companies and their dedicated pages, you have two options: search "Tictactrip + COMPANY NAME" or go to our website, in our bus, train or carpooling section and click on the link of the company that interests you!
We hope in any case to have helped you as best as possible once more, it was a pleasure! We wish you a very good trip!Tictactrip Team
