Bus Blablacar Conditions for Travel by Minors

First of all, the company stipulates that minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (aged at least 18).

In other words, children cannot travel alone.

The safety of minor passengers is also an absolute priority. As a result, the following conditions must be met:

• Up to age 3, children must be placed in a car seat fitted with a seatbelt adapter (not provided by the company) that can be secured with a two-point seatbelt. A seat must be booked for both the adult and the child.
• For international journeys, children under 16 must always be accompanied by a legal guardian or an adult holding authorisation from a legal guardian. Children aged 16 to 18 may travel alone only with parental authorisation.
• For domestic journeys, children under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 12 to 16 may travel alone with parental authorisation, while children over 16 may travel alone without parental authorisation on domestic routes.
