La Petite France, the must-see spot in Strasbourg.
Today it's the most popular area of the Christmas Capital with its lovely half-timbered houses.
Yet nothing seemed to predestine this district to such popularity. In fact, it used to be a district for syphilitics (people suffering from syphilis)!
The Strasbourg Cathedral was the tallest building in the world between 1647 and 1874. Even though many monuments now surpass it in height, you'll still be impressed by its dizzying height!
One last fun fact: did you know that La Marseillaise wasn't written in Marseille... but actually in Strasbourg!?
What can we say about Strasbourg? Surely that you'll fall head over heels for this magnificent city! On top of being very pretty, it offers you the cheapest pints in France! Knowing that, we assume you now feel like heading off on a cheap bus to Strasbourg? We would have bet on it! How about a Nancy Strasbourg bus? Or would you rather a Lyon Strasbourg bus? Either way, as long as you get there safely!
La Petite France is the most photographed spot in Strasbourg. Why? Simply because it's picture-perfect! Go there early in the morning and late in the evening to enjoy it without the crowds.
Strasbourg is full of charming little streets, bars, cafés, and half-timbered houses. La Petite France isn't very big (...after all, it's little lol), but you can wander its streets as much as you like!
Around midday, you can go and see Strasbourg Cathedral with its asymmetrical towers. And what you absolutely must do is stroll around on foot before taking a boat tour!
If you do all these things, you're definitely going to fall for Strasbourg, word of the TicTacTeam!
December is a very lively month in Strasbourg! What could be more fitting for the Capital of Christmas? You'll find France's oldest Christmas market there, dating back to 1570. In fact, there are around ten Christmas markets in Strasbourg! They're all really lovely to wander around, but it's better to shop at local businesses to buy good products for your loved ones. That said, you can still treat yourself with a pretzel, a little brioche or a slice of gingerbread!
You can book your Paris Strasbourg bus at the best price on the Tictactrip platform. One thing's for sure: your first visit to Strasbourg won't be your last!
