Prague is the 6th most visited city in Europe. Prague is home to nothing less than the largest stadium in the world, Strahov Stadium! It can hold up to 250,000 seats!
Paris doesn't have a monopoly on bridges where couples come to attach their padlocks ... there's also a Lovers' Bridge in Prague! If you have a romantic soul, attach a padlock on the Pont des Arts, hop on a bus, train and/or carpool and place a second padlock in Prague! They say love lasts forever, but you might as well stack the odds in your favour!
Are you a fan of pop and scandal? Then you're going to love the story of the John Lennon Wall! After the singer's assassination, his face was drawn on a square in Prague. Then erased by the police. Then drawn and erased again, and so on ... right up until the end of the communist regime!
Feel like heading to Eastern Europe and Prague in particular? But you're still missing some information, which we're happy to give you on this page, as well as answering the questions:
We have an unmissable deal for your visit to Prague! A cheap Paris Prague bus, provided by your favourite bus comparator, along with buying a Prague Card. This lets you visit all the monuments in the city!
Does this reassure you that it's entirely possible to travel to Prague on a budget? You're right!
Last piece of advice (perhaps the most important): don't forget to stop by one of the many bars in Prague, a pint is ridiculously cheap ;)
Enough chatting, here's the visit programme we've put together for your weekend in Prague!
We suggest wandering the streets of Prague with your nose in the air. That way, you'll be able to admire the city's Gothic architecture.
If you want to see a truly original building, we recommend the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, it's well worth the detour!
Also take a walk around the Jewish Quarter. It's a place steeped in history. There are also cafés and restaurants for when you get peckish! You'll also be able to try Prague's speciality there: goulash, of course!
Now that you've got a full stomach, let's get down to business. Get ready, we're going to list the must-see tourist spots in Prague, in our opinion!
First thing to visit: the famous Charles Bridge! Never heard of it? That's because you're not a Tom Cruise fan! A scene from Mission Impossible 1 takes place on this bridge! Also don't forget to visit the magnificent Prague Castle!
One last tip, especially if you feel like relaxing: the beer spa! In Prague you drink beer but ... you bathe in it too! A fun activity not to be missed!
If you already know Prague a little, you've probably noticed that we haven't mentioned many other lovely sights. For example, we haven't talked about the famous Kampa Island, but we can't cover everything at once! That's why we suggest using our bus comparator several times, as it will always find you the cheapest bus or train. That way, you can come back to Prague whenever you want!
Finally, to answer the question of transport to Prague, you just need to book a trip:
