Intermodality — what is this somewhat off-putting word at first glance? According to Wikipedia, it refers to "the use of several modes of transport during a single journey.". In other words, and to illustrate the point, it means taking a train and then a bus, for example, to reach your destination. You then combine a train and a bus during your journey, and in the best possible way, with schedules synchronised so that it means a saving of time and money for you. This is precisely why we so often mention the terms intermodality and/or combinations.
Comparabus does not have the technology to offer such a service to its customers. Its partnerships with more than a hundred companies and its technology are aimed solely at comparing offers for journeys by type of transport.
The Tictactrip platform, on the other hand, proposes and even champions this intermodality. Indeed, the very concept of Tictactrip is to offer these efficient and smart solutions in order to meet the essential needs of today's travelling customers and users, namely saving time and money. Lastly, Tictactrip is committed to a much bigger goal: an ideal of opening up remote French regions so that everyone can travel as they wish, easily. Mobility for all is therefore a major concern for Tictactrip.
